Channel manager integration pilot

There are two steps that follow the channel manager certification:

 

 

 

Integration client profile in Mews Production

 

  • The Mews Technical Partnerships team creates an integration client profile for your integration in the Mews production environment.
  • The unique Client Token is automatically sent to the email you indicated in the Certification form.
  • This token remains the same for all connections to all mutual customers that have added your integration to their Marketplace subscriptions in Mews.
  • At this stage, your integration is tagged Private and is not yet available in the Mews Marketplace.

 

Note: never share the token with unauthorized parties. In case you need to discuss connectivity issues with the Mews Technical Partnerships team, mention your integration name and avoid sending the full token.

 

 

 

Piloting your integration with a mutual customer

 

To allow clients to connect your integration to Mews, the last step to complete is a one-month pilot with a live Mews property.

 

  • If you already have a mutual customer in mind and mentioned them on the Certification form, the Technical Partnerships team then adds the integration to the pilot property for you. The Access Token, unique to the property, is automatically sent to you either via email (in the same inbox as your Client Token) and/or Webhooks.
  • If the pilot property was found after you submitted the Certification form, provide the pilot property name. The Technical Partnerships team then adds the integration to the pilot property for you.
  • If you don't have a pilot property, let the Technical Partnerships team know, to help you find one. Keep in mind that this may take some time, and we may not always be successful in finding a pilot.

  • The Mews Technical Partnerships team adds the integration to the pilot property for you.
  • The pilot property, Channel manager partner, and the Mews Technical Partnership team schedule a testing date.
  • The integration is enabled.
  • The Mews Technical Partnership team monitors the connection.

 

Requirements to complete pilot

 

  • There can only be one pilot at a time.
  • The pilot length is 30 days, which can be extended in case of major technical issues.
  • To complete pilot, a channel manager partner should not have any technical issues or should resolve them in a timely manner.

 

As soon as the pilot is completed, the Mews Technical Partner Success team reaches out to the Channel manager partner and make the channel manager integration public on the Mews website and in the Mews Marketplace.
