When your guests book accommodation together and want to split charges during payment, you can only allocate charges or bill items to the correct profile. If guests stay multiple nights, you can also divide the charges among the various profiles.
At the moment you cannot split charges on a bill in Mews Operations.

Note: Before completing the below steps, you need to have the Has overridable price option enabled in your additional service Accommodation options. You can learn more about creating or deleting an additional service here.
- In Mews Operations, open the customer's profile.
- Go to the Billing tab.
- Expand the bill for which you want to split the charges.
- Click Add product, then Accommodation.
- Mews displays the Order window.
- Under Amount, enter the amount in positive which one guest pays.
- Click Create.
Mews displays the positive Accommodation item on the bill.
You can now repeat the process for the connected negative amount.
- Click Add product, then Accommodation.
- Under Amount, enter the same amount in negative.
- Click Create.
Mews displays the negative Accommodation item on the bill.
You can now move the positive Accommodation item to another customer. You can learn how to move bill items to another customer here.
On completion, both customer profiles have a split amount on their bill, which you can charge according to the customer's preference.
