How to issue an invoice to a specific customer in the Mews POS Android app
Invoices in Mews POS contain important information for sales from your restaurant or bar, including the type and quantity of items a customer orders, the payment type, the date of the transaction and more. In instances where your guests request an invoice, or other circumstances where you require an invoice, staff can issue invoices from the Mews POS Android app. Staff can issue invoices from the order cart, after they create a customer.
To issue an invoice to a specific customer in the Mews POS Android app:
- From the order cart screen, tap Select Customer.
- Tap to select a customer from the list. Note: You can tap NEW CUSTOMER to create a new customer if the customer is not in the list.
- Tap the total amount, this opens the payment options screen.
- Complete the following:
- To issue an invoice without taking payment:
- Tap Send offer. The Send offer side panel opens.
- E-mail address: Type the customer’s email address.
- Offer Description: Type any notes for this invoice.
- Tap SEND.
- To issue an invoice and take payment:
- Tap a payment method, for example, card.
- Complete the payment. The transaction successful screen appears. Note: You can learn how to take a card payment in Mews PMS here.
- Tap Email receipt.
- E-mail address: Type the customer’s email address.
- Tap SEND.
- To issue an invoice without taking payment:
This issues the invoice to the customer.
