How to set up receipt printing in the Mews POS Android app

Receipt printing in the Mews POS Android app provides efficient transaction management for your property. When you enable receipt printing, you configure printer settings. This includes paper width and automatic printing, and accommodates various preferences, such as storing bitmap images of receipts for record-keeping. Whether you enable receipt printing for the first time or update your setup, the Mews POS Android app saves configurations instantly.

 

To set up receipt printing in the Mews POS Android app:

1. Tap  > Printers.
2. Tap the name of the printer you wish to enable receipt printing for. Note: If the printer is not in the list, you must add it. You can learn more about setting up a printer here.
3. Complete the following fields:

• Paper width: Tap the dropdown to select the width of paper the printer uses.
• Receipt printer: Tap the slider switch to activate it.
• Print receipts automatically:  Tap the slider switch to activate printing receipts automatically

4. To save a bitmap image file of each receipt:
   1. Tap SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS.
   2. Tap the Store bitmap slider switch to activate it.
