How to set up a product promotion price in Mews POS

Promotion prices in Mews POS allow you to display a different price next to the normal price you sell the product for. You can use this to display a lower price for products that are on offer and   encourage customers to purchase it.

When you configure a promotion price for a product in Mews POS, the product is sold to the customer for the promotion price, and a strikethrough is displayed on the original price on all publicly visible locations, such as the Order & Pay menu. You configure the promotion price from the Mews POS web dashboard products section.

 

To configure the promotion price from the Mews POS web dashboard

1. In the main menu, click Products.
2. From the Products list, click the product you want to define the promotion price for and click Edit.
3. In the Promotion price field, enter the discounted price.
4. Click Save.
5. Close and reopen the Mews POS Android app on your mobile devices to synchronize your app data with the changes.

 

This sets up a product promotion price in Mews POS. When you add a product to the cart in the Android app, the system automatically updates the product with the new promotion price.
