The Availability block report is where you can view your availability blocks. Availability blocks are a fixed set of inventory that you provisionally remove from your public availability:
- for private groups such as wedding parties or
- for companies or travel agencies,
- for a contractually agreed upon rate,
- for a fixed set of space categories within a specified time interval prior to creating reservations.
To view the Availability block report in Mews Operations,
- on your Mews Dashboard, in the Occupancy section, click on
Availability block report or,
- go to the main menu
> Reservations > Availability block report.
You can also search for the report by typing in the first three letters in the main search bar at the top.
Note: Availability block rates may ignore property-level restrictions during reservation pickup, depending on your Property settings. If you exclude availability block rates from global restrictions, these rates only follow restrictions you set directly on the availability block rate or rate group. This ensures that global restrictions like closed to stay do not unintentionally prevent group bookings. You can learn more about how to manage restriction settings for availability blocks.

- Company: To view the blocks related to a specific company.

The report displays:
- Names of all the blocks for the selected period.
- The Status of the block, Canceled, Confirmed, Optional or Inquired.
- The Start and End represent when a block starts and ends.
- The Release at column displays the date when the unused inventory with no reservations picked up in the corresponding block is to be released back to public availability.
- The Booker section displays the name of the Booker for whom the block was created. This is a mandatory field in the report and is always filled.
- The Company field, unlike the Booker name, is not a mandatory field and there may be instances when this field is empty. Note: You can always link a company to a block.
- The Travel agency field displays the travel agency contract if you attach one to the block.
