The BookVisit channel manager integration enables you to distribute your property's rates and availability on a global scale, directly from Mews Operations. With its bidirectional functionality, this integration ensures that both availability and reservations are managed and updated in real-time between Mews Operations and BookVisit, offering a cohesive and efficient booking management experience.
Note:
- If you're already live with Mews, Mews does not configure the entire channel manager integration for you. If you have any problems fixing the mapping errors within Mews Operations, contact the Mews support team to help you troubleshoot.
- You need to also configure the mapping in the BookVisit portal. In case of assistance, you can reach out to their support team at [email protected].
- You must use the BookVisit Payments integration from the Mews Marketplace with BookVisit. This ensures Mews Operations receives and processes any payments made for direct bookings through BookVisit.
- The BookVisit integration works with mapping codes generated in either Mews Operations or BookVisit.

Step 1: Connect and configure the BookVisit integration
To connect and configure the BookVisit integration, complete steps 1 – 3 in the article here.
Map companies and travel agency contracts (optional)
This step is optional. You should complete this only if you want to assign reservations received from the channel manager to a company in Mews Operations.

Step 2: Send mapping information to BookVisit
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Marketplace > My subscriptions.
- Locate the BookVisit integration and click Edit to go to the settings.
- Find and copy the Channel manager code. Note: BookVisit refers to this code as a "connection token."
- Send this to BookVisit support at [email protected].
BookVisit support pulls the Mews mapping information to BookVisit and instructs you on how to complete the mapping in BookVisit. Once complete, continue to the next step.
Step 3: Test the integration
Testing the integration allows you to check whether you configured the integration correctly. You can test this with a small set of reservations for the next 7 days.
