If you are using Mews Channel Manager Pro, you can connect any channel from the SiteMinder SiteConnect catalogue, including regional online travel agencies, wholesalers, and metasearch partners.
Adding a channel on Pro adds one step to the beginning of the standard setup flow: finding and adding the channel. The remaining five steps are the same as for the default channels in Core. The system saves your progress between sessions so that you can complete the setup at your own pace.
Note: Adding a channel is a Mews Channel Manager Pro feature. On Mews Channel Manager Core, you can set up a maximum of three default online travel agencies and your Mews direct booking engine. See the help article Comparing Mews Channel Manager Core and Pro for the differences between the two plans.

How to add a new channel in Mews Channel Manager Pro
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
- Enabled Mews Channel Manager Pro for your property.
- An active account with the channel you want to add, including credentials for its extranet.
- Already created room rates on the channel extranet, so Mews can read them for the mapping step.
- Uploaded photos and descriptions of your rooms to the channel extranet, so your listing is complete before you start selling.
For more detail on what each channel requires, see Prerequisites for connecting to a channel in Mews Channel Manager.
Step 1: Find and add the channel
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Revenue > Tools > Channels.
- Click Add a Channel.
- In the new screen, under Channel, click to select or type the name of the channel you want to add.
- Click Next.
The channel appears in the list with the status In setup, and the setup panel opens on Step 2.
Steps 2 to 6: Set up the channel
Once you add the channel, the remaining five steps are the same as for a Core channel:
- Step 2: Add credentials. Enter the credentials the channel requires. See How to add channel credentials in Mews Channel Manager.
- Step 3: Confirm the connectivity partner. Set SiteMinder as the connectivity partner on the channel extranet, then test the connection. See Confirming the connectivity partner on your channel extranet in Mews Channel Manager.
- Step 4: Configure the channel. Set channel-specific options such as minimum length of stay, maximum length of stay, and the rate modification factor. See How to configure channel settings in Mews Channel Manager.
- Step 5: Map room rates. Map the channel's room rates to your Mews room categories and rates. See How to map room rates to a channel and Understanding room rate mapping scenarios in Mews Channel Manager.
- Step 6: Enable the channel. Confirm that photos and descriptions are on the extranet, then enable the channel to start selling. See How to enable a channel in Mews Channel Manager.
For a complete overview of these steps, see How to set up an OTA channel in Mews Channel Manager.
This adds a new channel in Mews Channel Manager Pro. Once your new channel is enabled, your rates and availability sync to it automatically alongside your existing channels, and bookings flow back into Mews without any manual work.
