Your Mews direct booking engine sells rooms directly through your website, without the commission you pay to an online travel agency. With Mews Channel Manager, you set it up as a channel on the same screen you use for your online travel agencies, so direct booking and your online travel agencies live in one place.
The setup flow is different from an online travel agency setup because your direct booking engine is part of Mews. You do not need external credentials or a connectivity partner. Instead, you select the stay service the booking engine sells and configure the engine itself.
Note: Setting up the Mews direct booking engine from the Channels screen is available now. If you already use the Mews Booking Engine, your existing settings are unaffected. Existing help articles on the Mews Booking Engine may reference an older setup path and are being updated.
