How to set up the Lighthouse Channel Manager integration in Mews Operations

Setting up the Lighthouse Channel Manager (formerly Cubilis) integration in Mews Operations lets you synchronize rates and availability and receive reservations from online travel agencies directly in Mews Operations. As a hospitality employee, you complete this setup when onboarding a new property or adding a channel manager to reduce overbookings and manual updates. You complete this action in Mews Operations and the Mews Marketplace before you start selling inventory through Lighthouse Channel Manager.

How to set up the Lighthouse Channel Manager integration in Mews Operations

Before you start, make sure you meet following requirements:

  • You have an active Lighthouse Channel Manager account
  • You add the integration called Lighthouse Channel Manager in the Mews Marketplace
  • You receive the following codes from Lighthouse:
    • Hotel code
    • Room codes
    • Rate codes
    • Online travel agency codes

Note:  You cannot complete the mapping without the correct codes from Lighthouse.

Access the Lighthouse Channel Manager mapping documentation

You use the Lighthouse Channel Manager mapping document to align rooms, rates, and products between both systems.

You can access the documentation by:

  • Requesting it from your Lighthouse contact
  • Downloading it from the Lighthouse support portal

The document lists all codes required for the mapping process. When you review the document, focus on the following sections:

  • Room codes that match Mews space categories
  • Rate codes that match Mews rate plans
  • Product definitions, especially products charged per person per day

For example, breakfast often appears as a separate product that requires careful mapping.

Add screenshots from the real Lighthouse Channel Manager document to highlight room and rate codes for visual clarity.
