Products in Mews Operations are additional items or services that you can attach to reservations or sell separately, such as breakfast, parking, or spa services. You can delete a product if you no longer offer it. You can do so individually or delete products in bulk. You can delete a product at any time, as long as it is not linked to any ongoing reservations. You cannot restore deleted products. Ensure the product is not attached to any active reservations before you proceed.
You cannot delete a product if you:
- Manage it centrally
- Use it in a channel manager
- Link it to a product rule
- Add it to all reservations by default
- Connect it to a relative product
To delete a product individually:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Services.
- Click the service your product is attached to, then click Products. This takes you to the below screen:

Click
alongside the product you want to delete, and select Delete. Click Delete again to confirm.
- Or click on the product you want to delete, and in the side window that opens, click
> Delete.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
This deletes the product.
To bulk delete products:

In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Services.

Select the checkboxes alongside the services you want to delete. To select all, check the box at the top.
- Review the number of selected items. You can select Clear selection to begin again.
- Select Delete.
This deletes the products you select in bulk.
