How to delete a quote in Mews Events

A quote in Mews Events is a formal proposal of services and rates that helps you secure event bookings. You can reject a quote at any time, but deleting a quote is a permanent action. You reject quotes when a client decides not to have the event. Managers can delete quotes when they are no longer relevant and are not linked to any other processes in the system. Once you delete a quote you cannot retrieve it. Make sure you review all details and confirm that there are no outstanding actions before you delete the quote.

Note:You cannot delete a quote if it is linked to other processes in the system such as deposits, transfers or availability blocks. If the availability block has not been picked up, you can delete or reject any quotes linked to it. This cancels the availability block in Mews Operations.

To delete a quote in Mews Events:

  1. In Mews Events, go to the main menu Menu arrow right  > Quotes.
  2. Click more_24  > View details on the quote you want to delete.
  3. In the quote, click more_24  > Delete.
  4. Click Confirm to delete.

This deletes a quote in Mews Events.
