You can reject a quote in Mews Events if it doesn’t meet your requirements or preferences. When you do this, you choose a predefined rejection reason to clarify why the quote isn’t accepted. After rejection, the system displays the name of the person who rejected the quote and the selected reason on the quote page. You can reject a quote directly from Mews Events at the time you review the event details.
To reject a quote in Mews Events:
- In Mews Events, go to the main menu
and select Quotes
.
- Click on the respective quote state,
- To be processed
- Pending signature
- Accepted
- Approved
- Currently being modified
- In the list, next to the quote you want to reject, click
.
- Click Reject.
- Mews displays the Reject quote side-window.
- Under Who is rejecting the quote?*, select one of the following options:
- Customer
- Property
- Under Reason for rejecting*, click to select an option from the dropdown menu.
Note: Mews requires you to complete the Who is rejecting the quote? and Reason for rejecting fields before you can reject the quote.
- Click Reject.
You have now rejected a quote in Mews Events, and the result is as follows:
- Mews displays the following sections on the quote page after rejection:
- Rejected by: Who rejected the quote, Customer or Property.
- Reason for rejecting: The selected reason as plain text.
Note: If you reopen a quote, Mews removes these sections from the quote page.
