How to disconnect a Mews Terminal S1 or S2 from a property

If you need to return a Mews terminal S1 or S2 to Mews or to move the terminal to a new property, you need to first disconnect it. An administrator can disconnect Mews Terminals easily from the Marketplace in Mews Operations. Disconnect the Mews terminal only when you return it to Mews or move it to a new property, otherwise you can simply reconfigure it. After you disconnect it, you reconnect it to Mews or return it.

 

Note: You can only disconnect a terminal from a property if it uses Stripe payment integration. This is not possible with Adyen terminals.

 

To disconnect a Mews Terminal from a property:

1. In Mews Operations go to Main Menu  > Marketplace > My subscriptions.
2. Locate Mews Terminal and click Edit.
3. Click Payment terminals.
4. Click on the name of the terminal you wish to disconnect.
5. Click .

 

This removes the connection and disconnects the Mews Terminal.
