How to use a Mews Terminal S1 or S2 with a different property

You may need to use one of your current S1 or S2 Mews Terminals with a different property, for example, to temporarily cover a terminal that is out of action. To use a Mews Terminal with a different property, first disconnect it from its current location and then reconnect it in the new location. Administrators handle this directly in the Marketplace within Mews Operations. Ensure you access both properties' Marketplace settings and confirm the necessary network configurations before proceeding.

 

Note:

• Only properties that have Mews Payments can use Mews Terminals.
• You can only disconnect a terminal from a property if it uses Stripe payment integration. This is not possible with Adyen terminals.

To use a Mews Terminal with a different property:

1. Disconnect the Mews Terminal from the current property.
2. Reconnect the Mews Terminal to the new property.

This completes the relocation of the Mews Terminal.
