Token Passport in Mews Operations enables all properties within the chain to share tokenized payment details in the customer profile. Tokenization replaces sensitive payment information, such as credit card numbers, with a secure, random token to protect data.
If a guest prefers not to share tokenized payment details across each of your properties, property administrators can exclude them from Token Passport within their guest profile.
Note: When you exclude a guest from Token Passport:
- Mews stops sharing the tokenized payment details across the chain.
- Mews withholds tokenized payment details only for the property the guest is currently staying in.
- Mews does not share any future tokenized payment details with any property other than the property the guest stays at.
To exclude a guest from Token Passport:
- In Mews Operations, enter the name of the customer into the global search bar.
- Click on the customer's name.
- Click the Internals tab.
- Check the Withdraw card consent box to disable it.
This excludes the guest from Token Passport.
