When you connect Mews POS to a reservation provider such as ResDiary, you can use Mews POS to efficiently manage guest bookings and reservations directly from the Mews POS Android app. By connecting a reservation provider with Mews POS, you can easily access and organize guest reservations, streamlining the check-in and dining experience. When guests check in, wait staff can use the Mews POS Android app to locate reservations made via your reservation provider and to open checks.
To open a check for a reservation in the Mews POS Android app:
- Tap
. The system displays the Reservations window.
- To locate a Reservation:
- Tap the Upcoming tab, and locate the reservation from the list, or
- Tap Search, and enter the name of the guest.
- Tap on the reservation in the list to open it. The Reservation details screen appears.
- Tap Open check.
This opens a check for the guest’s reservation.
