When managing walk-in guests in the Mews POS Android app, you can remove a guest or reservation from an order. You do this directly from the order screen, which you access from the Open orders list in the app. This process helps you keep your order details accurate and ensures that the system links only correct guests to each walk-in. Whether you work at the front desk, a hotel restaurant, or another hospitality outlet, knowing how to remove unnecessary guest or reservation data helps maintain smooth service. You use this feature whenever you need to unlink a guest or update a reservation, and you complete it directly on the Android device you're using.
To remove a guest or reservation from a walk-in in the Mews POS Android app:
- Tap
. The Open orders screen appears.
- Tap an open order.
- On the order screen:
- Tap the customer name. The Customer details screen appears. Or
- Tap Reservation. The Reservation details screen appears.
- Tap Remove from order.
This removes the guest or reservation from the walk-in.
