How to add a reservation to a walk-in in the Mews POS Android app

When a guest with a reservation places an order as a walk-in, you can connect their reservation to the order to keep billing and records accurate. Use the Mews POS Android application during service, when you need to match an open order to the correct reservation the guest makes. You complete this task in the order screen, where you select the reservation from the list. Attaching a reservation shows who placed the order, what they requested, when they arrived, where the order took place, why the reservation matters for tracking, and how to link the visit to the correct profile.

 

To add a reservation to a walk-in in the Mews POS Android app:

  1. Tap . The Open orders screen appears.
  2. Tap an open order.
  3. On the order screen, tap + Reservation. The Reservations screen appears.

  1. Tap the name the reservation is assigned to from the list.

 

This adds the reservation to the walk-in order.
