How to switch between light and dark modes in the Mews POS Android app

 

In Mews POS, you can choose between Light mode and Dark mode to customize your interface for optimal visibility and comfort. This empowers waitstaff to work more comfortably based on the lighting of their physical environment, time of day, or personal preference. You do this while working in the Mews POS Android app across any device.

 

Theme customization gives you control over how Mews POS looks. You can switch between Light mode, which features bright backgrounds and dark text, and Dark mode, which uses darker backgrounds with light text.

 

To switch between light and dark modes from the Mews POS Android app:

1. Tap  
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Appearance.
4. Tap one of the following options:
   • Light mode: Bright appearance, suitable for well-lit environments.
   • Dark mode: Darker look, ideal for low-light conditions and to reduce eye strain.
   • System default: Automatically matches your device’s theme settings.
5. Tap Save settings. Note: Mews POS applies the theme instantly.
