How to use the customer Dashboard to view corrected items from open bills

Property and accounting staff can use the Dashboard tab on the Customer management screen in Mews Operations to view corrected items from open bills. After an employee makes a correction, staff can view the details and locate associated bills to assist with tracking and accurate financial reporting.

To view corrected items from open bills in Mews Operations: 

  1. Click on any customer profile or enter the customer's name in the Mews Dashboard search bar.
  2. Go to the Dashboard tab.
  3. Locate the Corrections section.

 
 

 

In the Corrections section, you can view the following fields: 

  • Correction: The correction name and number. Note: You can click the Correction name link for more details on the corrected items.
  • Created: The date and time the employee made the correction.
  • Created by: The employee who made the correction.
  • Reason: The explanation of why the employee made the correction.
  • Type of correction: The type of correction the employee made, either Removed item or Edited item.
  • Corrected bill: The associated bill. Note:
    • To open the bill and view more details, click the bill name link.
    • If the employee deleted the bill after they made the correction, Mews displays Open bill deleted in this field.
