I have received a suspicious message, what can I do?
In Mews we take the security of our customers very seriously. Unfortunately, scammers sometimes try to impersonate our company to steal personal information or gain access to accounts. Here’s what you can do to protect yourself:
How Mews communicates
- In Mews we never ask for sensitive information (passwords, credit card details) through unsolicited emails, calls, or text messages.
What to watch out for when receiving suspicious communications
- Be wary of emails with bad grammar, spelling mistakes, or generic greetings (like “Dear Customer”).
- Scammers often create a sense of urgency to pressure you into taking action.
- If you receive an offer or deal that seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Red flags when receiving communications
- Unfamiliar email addresses or phone numbers claiming to represent Mews.
- Requests for immediate action or personal information.
- Links or attachments in unsolicited emails – never click on them!
What to do if you suspect of a scam
- Do not respond to the suspicious message.
- If you believe you have received a fraudulent email or want to report suspicious phone calls or text messages open a ticket with Mews Support team. How to submit a support ticket in Mews Operations
