If your property no longer accepts cash as a form of payment, follow the instructions below to disable the cash option from the billing screen.
You can either:
- Delete the cashier, or
- Delete the employee's permission to take cash payments:

- Go to Main menu > Settings > Users.
- Go to the employee profile.
- Click on the edit pencil.
- Remove the cashiers from their permissions.
Note: To modify a user account or manage user permissions in Mews, you need to be either an Admin or have ‘Add and manage users' permission yourself. You can learn more about permissions in Mews here.
The cash payment option will still be visible on the billing screen drop-down menu, but if you click it, it will take you to a blank page:
