The Mews Compliance Suite helps Swedish properties meet the cash register requirements of the Swedish Tax Agency, Skatteverket. In Sweden, the Compliance Suite includes the Swedish fiscal registry integration for Mews Operations. You purchase the Compliance Suite once from the Mews Marketplace and then enable the integration.

The Swedish fiscal registry integration
Swedish businesses that sell goods or services for cash or card must use a certified cash register connected to a certified control unit. The Swedish fiscal registry integration connects Mews Operations to a certified cloud control unit, a CCU, so every bill you close is registered automatically. Mews PMS SE is on Skatteverket's list of manufacturer-declared cash registers.
- Transactions fiscalized automatically: when you close a bill, Mews sends the transaction to the control unit, which approves and records it before the bill is printed.
- Fiscal records stored: Mews stores a fiscal record for every bill, with the data the control unit returns.
- Control code and CCU ID on every bill: Mews adds the control code, the control unit's manufacturing number, and the cash register ID, along with the other details Skatteverket requires on printed receipts.
- Receipt printing rules applied: you can print one original and one copy of each receipt, as Swedish law requires.
- Cash register reports: generate the X and Z reports and the electronic journal from Mews Operations.
What you need to do: set up the integration in the Marketplace with your company details and create your cash registers. Mews registers a control unit for each cash register when you enable the integration.

Disabling the integration or deleting the Compliance Suite
Disabling the Swedish fiscal registry integration does not stop your subscription. To stop paying, delete the Compliance Suite from the Marketplace.
When you disable the integration, your bills are no longer fiscalized through the control unit, and new bills no longer carry the control code, the control unit's manufacturing number, or the cash register ID. If you take cash or card payments, you must keep using a certified cash register with a control unit, so set up another certified solution before you disable it.

Purchasing the Compliance Suite again
You can purchase the Compliance Suite again at any time from the Marketplace. The Swedish fiscal registry integration does not restart on its own. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Marketplace, search for the integration, and enable it again. Until you do, your bills are not fiscalized through Mews.
