"Cannot move reservation here because space is blocked" error message
If you see this error message when trying to assign a space to a reservation, it means that the space is already booked or blocked. To fix it, follow these steps:
- Go to the Timeline.
- Click on the reservation that is coinciding with the reservation you’re trying to create or move.
- In the Reservation details, check the departure time.
- If the departure time collides with the check-in time of the new reservation, the system cannot assign the space as it is technically occupied.
- Either adjust the departure time of the existing reservation or the arrival time of the new reservation.
"Cannot check-in reservation because assigned space is blocked" error message
If you get this error message when trying to check in a reservation, it's because there is a past reservation in that same space that hasn't been checked out yet. You can find and check out that past reservation either by using the timeline or the Reservation report.
