Error message "Please assign space reservation" when moving a reservation on the Timeline

If when trying to move a room you get the error "Please assign space reservation", it's because the check-out time of the previous reservation is overlapping with the check-in time of the reservation you are trying to move.

 

To solve this issue, you need to change the check-in time of the reservation you are moving. Here are the two ways in which you can change the check-in time of a reservation: 

 

  • If the reservation is not check-in: navigate to the Properties tab of the reservation module and update the arrival time. 
  • If the reservation is already checked-in:
    1. Navigate to the Status tab.
    2. Select Undo check-in.
    3. Change the arrival time in the Properties tab.
    4. Move the reservation.
    5. Check in the reservation again.
