The WTConnector, or WTC integration, is an integration for Portugal developed by Webteam that acts as an intermediary between the Mews system, connecting the Mews API to other APIs such as: 

• the AT Autoridade Tributaria, the Portuguese Invoicing systems, 
• SEF, the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service, and
• INE, the National Institute of Statistics in Portugal. 

The connections with each of the mentioned Portugal systems function as modules that you can choose to activate independently. You can choose to operate with just one, two, or all modules available. You can learn more about the WTConnector integration with Mews here.  

After the setup, you get access to an external WTConnector application where you can check the status of each module and the recent history of the reports.

• WTC encrypts all the sensitive data. 
• The INE statistic reporting module is under development until the end of 2023.

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Marketplace.
2. In the search bar, type “WTConnector” to locate the integration.
3. Click Explore.
4. Click Connect integration. 

Mews automatically informs WTC that you want to connect your property. Mews shares the following data with WTC:

• Property name, 
• Chain name, 
• User email address, 
• User first and second name,  
• Property access token 

1. WTC automatically creates an admin account for you using your enterprise email address from your property’s General settings.
2. WTC sends you all the setup instructions via email. 

Note:  WTC groups all the properties belonging to the same chain into the same account. 

Understanding the WTConnector modules 

WTConnector offers modular functionalities that you can activate individually for: 

• Invoicing,
• SEF Border Police reporting, and
• INE statistics reporting.

Note: The INE statistics reporting module is under development until the end of 2023.  

The Invoicing module 

Currently, the invoicing module supports only the integration with Moloni. 

The invoicing module allows issuing the following necessary fiscal documents from Mews to the integrated systems.  

• Invoices, 
• Receipts, 
• Invoices-receipts, and 
• Credit notes. 

The Moloni integration 

• To use the Moloni integration you need a Portuguese account using a Flex or Pro plan that includes the API features. You can learn more about the Moloni integration here. 
• WTConnector provides you with a separate interface to manage all your fiscal documents. 

In the Moloni application: 

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Api setup and plugins.
3. Fill all the required fields. 

 Then, in the web platform provided by WTConnector to manage the document sets, fill in the following details from Moloni: 

• Client_id 
• Client_secret 
• Username 
• password 

Note: You need to create a specific user in Moloni to manage the document sets. You can contact the WTC support team for more guidance.  

The SEF Border Police reporting module 

This module handles the SIBA, Sistema de Informação de Boletins de Alojamento, report for the SEF Police. The report is mandatory for each property and must occur daily. The integration module sends bulletins via Web Services, which requires prior registration in the reserved area of the SIBA Portal for each property. WTConnector notifies you via email if any of the bulletins sent contain errors.
