The global search is a search bar located at the top of the Mews Dashboard within Mews Operations. You can use it to find reservations, customer details, and other operational data directly from the Mews dashboard. You can use shortcuts in the global search to quickly access certain webpages or complete a task. The system has preset shortcuts which you can access at any time. The exact shortcuts you can use depend on your operating system.

Using global search shortcuts with Windows 

If you are using Windows, you can use the following shortcuts:

• To create a new reservation, press Alt + N.
• To select the global search, press Alt + F.
• To access the Mews Dashboard, press Alt + H.
• To access the Reservation overview, press Alt + O.
• To access the Timeline, press Alt + T.
• To open the Space status report, press Alt + S.  

 

Using global search shortcuts with macOS 

If you are using macOS, you can use the following shortcuts:

• To create a new reservation, press Option + N. 
• To select the global search, press Option + F. 
• To access the Mews Dashboard, press Option + H. 
• To access the Reservation overview, press Option + O. 
• To access the Timeline, press Option + T. 
• To open the Space status report, press Option + S.
