What does the error "The bill cannot be owned by and associated with the same profile. Select a different profile" mean?

The error message "The bill cannot be owned by and associated with the same profile. Select a different profile" means that the open bill you are trying to close has the same Owner and the Associated profile.

 

 

A profile can either be owner or be associated with, not both. 

 

To close the bill you need to either:

 

• Remove the associated profile. How to add, edit, or remove a profile associated with a bill.
• Modify the associated profile or move the owner to a different profile.
