If the status of a new employee account remains 'Pending', it's because the Mews Terms and Conditions were not accepted.
This is the user creation workflow:
- The supervisor creates the employee profile. Add or remove a user in Mews Operations.
- Mews sends an email to the employee with instructions. Note: if the employee doesn't receive the email, they should check the spam folder and add Mews to their address book.
- The employee clicks on 'Add my info' to finish setting up their account.
- To set up the account properly, the employee must agree with Mews Terms and Conditions. This is a vital step to prevent the account from remaining in a "pending" status.
Note: If the employee doesn't accept the Mews Terms and Conditions and only sets up the password, they can't access their account, and their supervisor has to re-send the invitation email.
How to re-send an invitation email to a user?
- Navigate to the Main menu > Settings > Users.
- Click on the 'pending' employee's profile.
- Click on the envelope icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
