Why is the status of a new employee account 'Pending'?

If the status of a new employee account remains 'Pending', it's because the Mews Terms and Conditions were not accepted.

 

This is the user creation workflow:

 

  1. The supervisor creates the employee profile. Add or remove a user in Mews Operations.
  2. Mews sends an email to the employee with instructions. Note: if the employee doesn't receive the email, they should check the spam folder and add Mews to their address book.
  3. The employee clicks on 'Add my info' to finish setting up their account.
  4. To set up the account properly, the employee must agree with Mews Terms and Conditions. This is a vital step to prevent the account from remaining in a "pending" status. 

 

Note: If the employee doesn't accept the Mews Terms and Conditions and only sets up the password, they can't access their account, and their supervisor has to re-send the invitation email.


How to re-send an invitation email to a user?

 

  1. Navigate to the Main menu > Settings > Users.
  2. Click on the 'pending' employee's profile.
  3. Click on the envelope icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
