Add images to your Mews Booking Engine

The Mews Booking Engine pulls all the information that it displays, from Mews Operations. Therefore, it's important that you configure all the customer-facing details. The booking engine pulls the logo and background image of your property from the General settings page in Mews Operations. You can update your logo and sign in image in this page. You can also add images to your your space categories and your product offerings to showcase and promote then in your Mews Booking Engine. Mews supports JPG and PNG image formats, and recommends high-resolution images for best results.

Add your space category images

You can add multiple images of a space category to display in your Mews Booking Engine. The Mews Booking Engine can display up to 10 images of a space category. Note: Mews recommends you upload a maximum of 4 - 6 images to avoid distracting the customer while they are in the booking process. 

If you don't add an image of the space category, Mews uses your sign-in image instead to display in the booking engine. To add your space category images:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Services.
  2. Click on your bookable service, for example, Stay. 
  3. Click Space categories.
  4. Click on the space category you want to add an image for.
  5. In the Upload section, click inside the grey Image box to choose an image from your computer.
  6. Select the desired image file on your computer.
  7. Click Add to add the images.

Repeat steps 4 - 7 to add every image of the space category that you want to display in the booking engine.

If you add multiple images of the space category, they appear in the same display order as you upload them. To change the order, click the image.png icon next to an image, and use the image.pngto change the order of the image as it appears in the booking engine. You can also click image.pngto delete the image.

You can also add a detailed description for your space category in the Description section in the above page, for your potential guests to know more about them before booking. 
 

Add your product image

You can add only one image per product to display in the Mews Booking Engine. To add your product image:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Services.
  2. Click on your bookable service, for example, Stay. 
  3. Click Products.
  4. Click on the product you want to add an image for. The screen opens in the Detail tab.
  5. In the Image section, click inside the grey Image box to choose an image from your computer.
  6. Select the desired image file on your computer.
  7. Click Change to save the image.

You can also add a detailed description for your products in the Description section in the above page, for your potential guests to know more about them before booking. Note: In the Product options section, make sure to select Offer to customer to make the product available in the booking engine.
