Generate reports for the Czech Ministry of Finance

The EET CZ integration is applicable only to properties located in the Czech Republic, and it is used to report cash payments to the Czech Ministry of Finance.

Note: This is not a direct integration. You manually upload the generated report on the EET platform.

In this article, you can learn about:

Step 1: Acquiring an EET Certificate

Before you begin the integration setup, ensure you have obtained an EET certificate from the Ministry of Finance. You refer to this file as a certificate file and upload it during the integration setup.

Step 2: Setting Up the EET CZ Integration

To set up the integration:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot 2024-01-15 at 12.16.40.png  > Marketplace

Understanding the EET Certificate File

  • The Czech Ministry of Finance provides this file.
  • It comes with a .P12 extension.

Note:

  • Mews marks only bills settled by cash with the codes and includes them in the Fiscal Record Report. Bills settled by other means do not require reporting.
  • If any data submission to EET fails, the system automatically resends it within 48 hours, as legally required.

Once you successfully enter all information, you can begin to issue bills that include the Fiskální identifikační kód (FIK) and Bezpečnostní kód poplatníka (BKP). These codes are mandatory under Czech law.
