- Consumed at: Click to select whether you want to charge the product After midnight or Before midnight.
- Click Create.
Note
-
Because the adjustment product changes how revenue is distributed across accounting categories, it may affect how the system calculates ADR if the accounting categories are not configured correctly.
- Creating an accommodation adjustment product does not reflect the actual room rate and can affect the Average Daily Rate (ADR) calculation if you do not assign products to the correct accounting category. For example, if the setup includes a breakfast product on the rate, you need to assign the adjustment product to the Accommodation accounting category.
- Rate: 100 EUR, assigned to the Accommodation accounting category
- Product: Breakfast 5 EUR, assigned to the Food accounting category
- Accommodation adjustment product: -5 EUR, assigned to the Accommodation accounting category
- Rate: 100 EUR, assigned to the Accommodation accounting category
The total price of the reservation, and ADR, is 100 EUR.
