You can create tasks in Mews Operations and assign employees or departments to complete them. When they log in to Mews Operations, they can see their tasks on the Dashboard on the desktop, or in the Tasks tab on mobile. You can give context to the assigned employees by adding images, links, headings or bullet points to the tasks.
When you create a task and assign a user to it,
- Mews triggers a notification message to the assigned employee and notifies on log in.
- If the employee is part of more than one Mews account, Mews shows the task in all accounts but only triggers the notification in the account you assign it.
- Task notifications are clickable and take you to the task directly.
Channel manager task notifications: If a channel manager integration encounters a mapping error, or invalid credentials, Mews notifies you right away as these are critical issues where your channel manager integration is fully or partially disabled. This is to ensure you don't stay disconnected for long.
- Mews automatically notifies the responsible department, that you set in the channel manager settings. If no department was set
- Mews sends the notification to all admin users. You can learn how to assign a responsible department in the Connect and configure your channel manager integration to receive reservations through external channels help article.
