If you need to process a refund and you have insufficient funds in Mews payments, you can top up your account via bank transfer. You can only top-up the Payment gateway integration, and only Admins have access to the necessary settings.
If you need to top-up your Mews Payments account to process refunds, follow these steps:
- Locate your Mews Payments provider: find the information about the Mews Payments provider by navigating to the Main menu > Marketplace > My Subscription > Merchant integration > Payment Gateway.

After Mews receives the amount in its bank account, it can take one to two business days to show in your balance. Mews disables the automatic payouts for your property so that the amount stays in your payments balance for you to use. If you want to start receiving payouts again, contact our team at [email protected], who can re-enable them.
