Printing a test receipt in the Mews POS Android app ensures your printer is functioning correctly and ready for daily operations. This helps you set up a new printer, troubleshoot issues, or perform routine checks to maintain reliability. Property managers and front-desk staff can use this functionality to verify that the printer is properly configured, minimizing potential disruptions. By testing the printer directly from the application, you confirm its readiness to print  receipts.

 

To print a test receipt from the Mews POS Android app:

  1. Tap  > Settings.
  2. Tap Printers > Tap the name of the printer.
  3. Tap PRINT TEST RECEIPT.

 

This prints the test receipt from the selected printer.
