Setting up printer preferences in the Mews POS app

Once you've successfully paired and connected your printer with our application, you can decide on its behaviour and change the settings. Here's how:

1. Open the application menu by tapping the (≡) icon,
2. select Settings,
3. go to Devices -> Printers,
4. Tap the printer in the list of connected printers to edit preferences:
   • adjust paper width:
     • 58mm (mPOP)
     • 80mm (Star printers - SP700, TSP)
   • activate automatic receipt printing
   • assign a printer to print:
     • receipts
     • cash management reports
     • open orders
     • stubs
   • additionally, you can:
     • connect the barcode scanner
     • print test receipt to check if the receipt is printing as expected
     • open a cash drawer to check if it's properly connected to the printer
     • remove the printer from available printers in the app
   • advanced settings:
     • see the printer IP or MAC address
     • see the printer class and change it if needed
     • see the printer model and adjust the name if needed
     • reduce the cash drawer opening delay
5. When finished, tap Save to save changes
