Why is a rate unsynchronized?

If a rate gets automatically unsynchronized on your Channel manager integration it means that there's a mapping issue between Mews and the Channel manager.

Every time there's a mapping issue, Mews sends an email with the explanation and how to fix it. To learn what are the different Channel manager error emails, check this guide.

What happens if a rate is unsynchronized?

If the rate is Unsynchronized, you still receive reservations, but Mews doesn't send the pricing or restriction updates to the Channel manager.

Rates can be unsynchronized in the integration in mews if the rate is derived directly in the OTA extranet (having synchronized unselected allows for this). In this particular case, "Unsynchronized" simply means the pricing isn't sent for this rate from Mews.

How to synchronize a rate?

  1. Navigate to Main menu > Marketplace > My subscriptions
  2. Find your Channel manager  >  click Edit
  3. Go to Channel manager settings > Channel manager rates.
  4. Click on the unsynchronized rate's Channel manager ID
  5. Tick the Synchronized checkbox.
  6. Send a manual push to ensure that all the changes are synchronized. How to send a manual update to the Channel Manager?
