What does the error "Hotel not active" mean?

The "Hotel not active" error message can occur with Synxis or Amadeus iHotelier (formerly TravelClick) integrations.

 

This error means that while you turned on the operation "Synchronize reservations" in the channel manager integration in Mews, you did not enable or paid for it on the channel manager side. For example, "Synchronize reservations" in SynXis CRS is an optional paid feature, which makes the Mews-SynXis integration two-way enhanced.

 

To stop the errors, navigate to your channel manager integration in Mews and disable the operation "Synchronize reservations".


Note: Within an hour after disabling the operation, you may still receive a few more errors.
