What does the category ordering mean in room classification?
The category ordering allows the system to understand which rooms are considered above or below others. This is especially important for upgrades and downgrades. Learn how to Create or delete a space category.
To order the rooms start from 0 and then goes in ascending order. The category with order 0 appears at the top.
Note:
- Mews doesn't allow downgrades from the Timeline (drag-and-drop feature), you must downgrade a room from the Properties tab of the reservation by changing the Requested category.
- Equal categories are considered to be at the same level. When you input the same number in the ordering for different categories, the system considers it an upgrade.
