How to add products to a menu section in Mews POS

You add products to a menu section in Mews POS to make them available for ordering in the Mews POS app. You do this in the Mews POS web dashboard after you create a menu and add sections. As a staff member managing menus for a restaurant, bar, or outlet, you add products so that your wait staff can select them quickly when taking orders from guests.

 

To add products to a menu section in Mews POS,

  1. In the Mews POS web dashboard, click Menus.
  2. Click the menu you want to edit. The Create menu screen opens.
  3. In the Products side window:
    • To add a product to a menu section, click and drag  next to a product.
    • To locate products, enter the product name in the Search products box.
    • To filter products by type, click A black line on a white backgroundAI-generated content may be incorrect. and select the required product type.
       For example, drinks or appetizers.
    • To select multiple products for bulk operations, click the check box next to each product. Then drag the multiple products all at once into a menu section.
  1. Repeat these steps for each product you want to add. Note: To delete a product from the menu, click the checkbox next to the product to enable it, and then click .
  2. Click Save.

 

Note: You can add the same product to more than one section if needed.

 

This adds products to the menu sections.

 

Next, you can reorder menu sections and products in Mews POS.
