A well-structured menu helps staff take orders quickly and avoid mistakes. In Mews POS, you create menus to define which products are available, organize them into sections, and assign them to specific outlets. You can also filter products by allergens or dietary restrictions and configure when menus are available, so only relevant items appear at the right time. This helps staff serve guests with confidence, improves consistency during service, and reduces ordering errors. You create and manage menus in the Mews POS web dashboard. Staff then access these menus in the Mews POS Android app, where only available menus are shown based on the time of service.
Note: To create a menu in Mews POS, you need the “Can manage menus” permission. You can activate this permission in Mews POS by clicking Settings > Role > Select a role > Activate 'Can manage menus'.
