Mews sends emails to guests on your behalf with relevant information regarding their reservations and payments. In Mews, you can build a new template for an existing email from scratch and customize it according to your property’s branding. To add content to your email, you must first add rows to your email template. Rows group the placement of content blocks within the email template, which forms the layout. You can choose between empty rows or the customized Mews rows. You can delete any customized templates you edit if required or use the default Mews template.
To add rows to mail templates:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Settings > Property > Guest experience > Mail templates.
- Find the template you want to edit and click Edit, then click the Rows tab.
- In the dropdown, click:
- Empty: To select the default rows without any content. Note: If you add a default row, you need to add content to it.
- Mews: To select rows with a customized Mews design.
- Drag and drop a row block to insert it into the template. The system displays the valid placement options for content blocks.
- Click Preview to preview the email.
- Click Save and exit to save or click Reset to remove all customizations and revert back to the default Mews templates.
This adds a row to the mail template.
