How to bulk override cleaning types in Flexkeeping

Housekeeping supervisors sometimes need to change the scheduled cleaning type for multiple rooms at once, for example, when a group of rooms requires a different clean than the one you originally assigned. The bulk manual override feature in the work view lets you update cleaning types across several rooms in a single action, instead of changing each room one by one. You do this directly in the housekeeping work view whenever you need to adjust scheduled cleans before or during your team's shift.

Previously an override cleared overnight, even if the clean never happened. Now you can choose to keep it in place, carrying it over day after day, until housekeeping has completed that exact clean.

Note

  • You can only bulk override cleaning types from the weekly view in Flexkeeping. It is not available in the mobile app.
  • Bulk overrides affect the scheduled clean for a specific day and room but do not change the regular cleaning schedule. These still appear on the usual days.
  • The system does not send an alert or create a follow-up task for overrides you do not complete or cancel. You need to follow up with your staff.
  • You can only override a clean with another clean from the same category, such as, a departure clean with a departure clean.
