You can preauthorize a credit card in Mews Operations to temporarily hold funds for future charges—such as no-shows, deposits, or incidentals. This enables your property to secure payment for an upcoming reservation without charging the guest immediately. When you are ready to charge the preauthorized balance to a credit card, you can do so from the Payments section of a guest or company profile in Mews Operations.

- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
