When you review dependent rate pricing in Mews Operations, you check that prices calculate correctly for different occupancies and adjust values if needed so that your rates match your intended pricing strategy. You do this after configuring rates or when prices appear incorrect.
Note:
- It is not currently possible to remove a single adjustment in the rate adjustments form — you can only clear all adjustments at once.
- To remove a single adjustment, set the value to 0 and click Override.
To check pricing for different occupancies
In Mews Operations:

Go to main menu
> Settings > Services

Click on a bookable service, for example, Stay.

Click Rates.

Locate the dependent rate. rate you want to edit and click the name to open it.

Review pricing for:

Standard occupancy
-
Higher occupancy
-
Check that:

The base price reflects the dependent rate derivation.

Extra guest pricing adds correctly.
For example, compare the price for two guests with the price for four guests.
Note Incorrect pricing often results from missing adjustments or incorrect overrides
To correct the incorrect pricing
If pricing is incorrect:

Check the selected pricing mode in service settings.

Check if adjustment fields are empty and use inherited values.

Check if an override replaces the expected value.

Check the selected date and room category.
