How to delete central segments in Mews Multi-Property

A central segment is a portfolio-wide segment defined once at the headquarters level and assigned to properties across your portfolio. As a portfolio administrator or revenue manager, you delete a central segment when it is no longer part of your reporting structure, when you are consolidating segments across your portfolio, or when a segment was created in error. You delete central segments in Mews Multi-Property from the Segments screen, either one at a time or in bulk.

How to delete central segments in Mews Multi-Property

To delete central segments:

1. In your portfolio account, go to the main menu > Segments.

 

Delete a single central segment

You can delete a single central segment from the row menu or from the segment's side panel.

Note: You are not able to delete a segment with properties assigned.  

 

From the row menu:

1. On the segment row, select the .
2. Select Delete.
3. Select Delete to confirm. Note: This cannot be undone.

 

From the side panel:

1. Select the segment row to open the side panel.
2. In the top right of the side panel, select the trash icon .
3. Select Delete to confirm. Note: This cannot be undone.

 

Once you delete them, the system removes the segments from the Central segments tab and no longer available to assign to properties.
