How to assign central segments to properties in Mews Multi-Property

A central segment is a portfolio-wide segment defined once at headquarters level and used by properties across your portfolio. As a portfolio administrator or revenue manager, you assign a central segment to properties so those properties use the central setup as their default configuration for that segment. You assign central segments in Mews Multi-Property when onboarding a new property, when standardizing segments across your portfolio, or when rolling out a newly created central segment.

How to assign central segments to properties in Mews Multi-Property

To assign central segments:

1. In your portfolio account, go to the main menu > Segments.

 

Assign a single central segment to properties

1. Hover over the segment row and select the Assign icon on the right.

 

2. In the Assign segment to properties panel, open the Properties dropdown.
3. Select one or more properties that should use this segment as their default configuration.
4. Select Assign.

 

Note: Assigned properties inherit the central setup for the segment. You can override specific attributes per property later if needed.

 

Review assigned properties

1. Select the segment row to open the side panel.
2. Select the Properties tab.

 

The Properties tab lists every property the segment is assigned to, with the property name, country, and sync status.
