A central segment is a portfolio-wide segment defined once at the headquarters level and used by properties across your portfolio. As a portfolio administrator or revenue manager, you modify a central segment when the segment's name, external mapping, or service scope changes, or when you are refining segment definitions across your portfolio. You modify central segments in Mews Multi-Property from the Segments screen, and your changes propagate to every property the segment is assigned to.
Note: When you manage segments centrally, the system blocks local edits.
