How to edit a service in Mews Multi‑Property

You edit a service in Mews Multi‑Property to update the portfolio-wide defaults for its details or configuration. You do this when there are changes to the service name, description, booking rules, or operational settings. You edit services from the Services page or from a service’s side panel in Mews Multi‑Property.

How to edit a service in Mews Multi‑Property 

Step 1: Editing service details 

  1. In Mews Multi‑Property, go to the main menu main menu > Services.

  1. Find the service you want to edit. 
  2. Do one of the following: 
    1. Click more actions three dots  and select Edit
    2. Open the service’s side panel and click Edit
  3. In the Details step, update the relevant fields. 

 

  • You can edit the service Name, Short name, Description, Service key, Ordering, and Image. 
  • Changes apply as portfolio-wide defaults for all assigned properties. 

 

 

Step 2: Editing service configuration 

  1. In the Configuration step, review and adjust the service’s booking, pricing, and guest experience settings. 
  2. Make changes to any applicable fields based on the service’s bookable period. 

Changes apply as default configurations across all assigned properties. 

 

  1. Click Save

 

You have now updated the central service. Properties continue using their own local settings unless you explicitly change them.
